Most pressing issue, fatal if not solved -> Earth climate like Venus!
The most pressing issue currently is climate change. Temperatures are increasing, and there's a risk that surpassing a certain threshold could lead to a point of no return. If this happens, Earth could potentially experience a climate similar to Venus, where not even a single microbe could survive. Population growth (A) and failing projects ( B) significantly contribute to the rising temperatures.
A-Population from 8-> 9 billion the next 25 years ( 2050 )
From now until 2050, the global population is expected to increase from 8 to 9 billion. This growth heightens the risk of failing to reduce global temperatures. Often, people are not concentrated on the slowly emerging real danger. Wars, hunger, diseases, and daily troubles are considered minor issues, yet they obscure the more significant threat of the rising temperature. Even the risks of a meteorite impact, a super volcano eruption or a nuclear war are substantial but not fatal for Earth life systems.
B-Impact of Failing Projects on Climate Change
It is recognized that 60% of projects either partially or completely fail, leading to unnecessary annual CO2 emissions and consequently, increasing temperatures.
